Mini Me, Part One... At GenCon Indy 2005, those good folks at Reaper Miniatures (www.reapermini.com) had a major suprise lined up for me. Master sculptor Bobby Jackson had taken the wallpaper image from my website bio page and transformed it into a very precise 3-D Mini Me, which was then skilfully painted by Michael Genet. Wee Wayne - my own miniature. A Big Thank You to Reaper Miniatures, with sincere apologies for the delay in showing off your handiwork. (Artwork commissioned by Reaper can be viewed in Gallery 5, 'Fantasy Art').

Mini Me, Part Two.... Never content on rest on their laurels, Reaper took the opportunity to develop their 'Demented Artist' range of miniatures and kindly presented me with the fruits of their labour at GenCon 2006. The original sculpt (above) was used, and modded into fiendish variant forms by Bobby Jackson. Once again, Michael Genet did a splendid paint job, while Ron Hawkins headed up the conspiracy - for which I remain very grateful, and very entertained. Check out the Viking and Samurai versions below:

Don't forget, folks; Reaper also have a vast range of miniatures that are renditions of attractive characters. They can still be seen and admired at: www.reapermini.com

My very first 'curiosity' - a Wayne Reynolds artwork tattoo, inked on to AJ from Princeton, North Carolina, US.

This is an image taken from the 'Complete Divine' handbook (Wizards of the Coast), entitled 'Tome of the Stilled Tongue'.

AJ's tattoo and the original image can be compared side by side here- very favourably indeed.

Thanks for sending the image to me, AJ.

'Keepers and Secrets'

I've been providing cover artwork (front and back) for the 'Keepers & Seekers' series of childrens historical/fantasy adventure books, written by Colin Foreman and published by Myroy Books. The sequence is being published annually over five years: the last book is due for release in 2009. The first three titles are; 'To the End of the World', 'Killer in the Dark', and 'A Moment Comes'. Profits from the sale of these books are being donated to CHAS (Children's Hospice Association Scotland). More details can be found at the website, www.myroybooks.co.uk
